Interview with Ishiuchi Miyako by Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
I stumbled upon this interview with Japanese photographer Ishiuchi Miyako on Jörg M. Colberg’s Twitter feed.
I was not familiar with her work before, but watching this interview, so much of what she said resonated with me, especially when it comes to my photography about Dubai - “I can’t capture the past, but the things in front of me are an extension of the past.”
