End of Summer Break

I spent most of September outside Dubai this year. I travelled to Venice for the film festival, and after that I spent a week in London and just over a week in Amsterdam.

Earlier this summer, I found myself open to the world in a way that I haven’t felt in a very long time, and connecting with people in a way I’ve never done before. The past month in particular has been full of emotional highs and lows, joy and heartache, and generally trying to figure things out about myself. I also stayed mostly offline too, which I think we all need to do frequently. 

Will write about the film festival in Venice and cinema outings in London and Amsterdam in the coming days.
