RIP Tina Turner

My introduction to Tina Turner was listening and seeing her sing Let’s Stay Together. Most likely on one of the many pirated episodes of Top of the Tops that we could rent from our local VHS store.

She wasn’t the typical top charting female singer at the time, a fierce looking woman in her mid 40s, she was like no other singer performing at the time. Many try to emulate her, but there will always be the one and only Tina Turner.
