Acclaimed Iranian auteur Abbas Kiarostami passed away last night. I was quite sad to read the news. There's been a flood of tributes and articles being shared on Twitter. When the world loses a great artist, the only consolation is that his/her work will still be around to be loved and cherished.

I will share some of my favourite links and tributes in a separate post, but for now, I'd like to share some of Kiarostami's photography which was just as poetic as his films. This is from his Rain series, and a reminder of his iconic car scenes from his films.
