Photo Diary - January 2019
My cameras have been collecting dust for a while, so for 2019 I made a resolution to take a photo a day .
Since I only shoot on film (the only exception is when I use my iPhone for quick snapshots I share on social media), I won’t be able to share the photos daily. I will only be able to share the results at the end of each month.
I’ll treat this as a visual diary and will aim to use a different type of film and/or camera every month.
For January, I used my LOMO LC-A+ camera and Fujifilm Fujicolor 200. The beauty of the LOMO LC-A+ is the lo-fi results which I know is not to everyone’s taste. But I like not knowing the results till the roll is developed and to be surprised by the colours, the vignettes, and even the blurriness (which I admit works on some photos better than others). I also tried a few double exposures (shooting on the same frame twice) and would like to experiment more with this.
