This version of 'This too shall pass' is directed by James Frost, OK Go and Synn Labs. It was filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The 'machine' was designed and built by the band, along with members of Syyn Labs.
It is a lovely ode to Rube Goldberg machines designed by the famous American cartoonist Rube Goldberg, known for his cartoons depicting complicated devices that perform the simplest tasks in the most indirect and convoluted ways.
OK Go always delight us with their videos and the one that first introduced me to them, 'Here it goes again' will always be a firm favourite.
