This one goes out to all the fans of David Fincher’s Mindhunter on Netflix, or anyone interested in digital effects in film and TV.
I recently finished watching season 1 and 2 recently and can’t wait for season 3. I am also a new fan of Holt McCallany, but I’ll say more in another post.
This is a breakdown reel showing the invisible visual effects of Mindhunter. It’s quite amazing how much is done behind the scenes for our visual pleasure and a reminder of how many people - and not just computers - are involved in making a series and /or film.
The visual effects we see here are done by a company called Artemple-Hollywood that also produced the visual effects for David Fincher’s film Gone Girl.
