Happy New Year - 2024

Difficult to feel happy in these dark times, but hoping for a new year that brings peace.
Last night I went for an end of year walk in my neighbourhood. This house was at the end of our street. It’s lit up to celebrate a wedding in that household.
The following morning I went for a swim in the nearby community pool, it was my first swim in two months. I was determined to stick to my annual tradition of starting or ending the year near water.
In the afternoon I went to the cinema to watch Priscilla.
