Panel Talk with Nujoom Al Ghanem and Nawaf Al Janahi and Black Box Cinema Roadshow
I’ve been invited to moderate a discussion with filmmakers Nujoom Alghanem and Nawaf Al Janahi about their careers and current projects at this year’s edition of Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.
The session will be part of an evening titled LitFest After Hours on Thursday, February 1 which will include a program of performances and talks. (My brother will be on a panel about the comics scene in the UAE that’s also part of the same program).
This event will take place at Intercontinental Hotel (Festival City) and the ticket price to attend all or any of the LitFest After Hours events on Thursday is AED 40.
You will find the complete program happening for that night and a map of the different venues in the hotel. You can also find out more information here.
Our session will start 7.30pm and it will be followed by a film screening programme hosted by Nawaf Al Janahi’s Black Box Cinema at 8.20pm.
I moderated a talk with Nujoom Al Ghanem last October after the screening of her film Honey, Rain & Dust, and very much looking forward to this discussion with her and Nawaf.
